DURING TYPHOON ROLLY!

Good Morning mga Fathers and Revs! Let us prepare and brace ourselves from this Super Typhoon!

Magsama-sama tayo sa panalangin sa Panginoon na nawa ay pag-ingatan Nya tayong lahat!

Makakatulong din i-announce sa mga Misa ang mga sumusunod:

Expect power outages

1. Charge all gadgets; cell phones, tablet, laptops and other gadgets for communication.
2. Use them wisely. Avoid unnecessary calls. Use SMS. Expect weak or no signal as cell sites may be down.
3. Replace batteries on your flashlights and make sure to keep a spare for prolonged brownouts;
4. Your AM/ FM battery-operated radios may be your best source for news.
5. Relieve your refrigerators and freezers as power may be off for a few days. You have now until tonight to do it. Consume food items that spoil easily.
6. Have your LPGs ready and refill your spare tanks.
7. Have an adequate supply of drinking water and fill pails for your bathroom use.

Preparing for destructive winds

1. Dismantle all temporary structures.
2. Keep safe all items outside of the house specially in your dirty kitchens.
3. Empty your sampayans.
4. Reinforce your plants.
5. Secure all unstable items in your open garage and garden.
6. If needed, reinforce unsteady roofing like polycarbonate by placing hollow blocks or sand bags on top.

We will get hit twice as the eye of this super typhoon heads towards NCR. Between the 1st quadrant and last quadrant hits, be alert that the sunny skies and lull are a temporary calm.

AS EARLY AS NOW,
secure all “loose items” in your respective places.

Outside decors and potted plants should be secured.

Park your cars safely far enough from tall trees.

Save on water as well.

Ready your emergency lights as electricity might be cut off.
