Mithiing Pangarap ng Ating Diyosesis (Pebrero 2014)

Ang Diyosesis ng Kalakhang Maynila ay pinagtitibay at itinatalaga ang Lokal na Simbahan sa patuloy na paghubog ng kasapian bilang tunay na mananampalataya sa buhay at gawain ng Panginoong Hesukristo; sa matapat na pagsamba sa Diyos at paglilingkod sa Kanyang sambayanan gabay sa aral ng Kanyang katuruan at kasaysayan; sa mapagkakatiwalaang tagapamahala ng biyaya ng Maykapal at dangal ng sangnilikha; at sa Kanyang mabuting kapamaraanang-banal tungo sa kaganapan ng Kanyang Kaharian.

2020 General Thrust: Stewardship of Members (People) and Resources

Goals

1. To identify/develop a clear understanding of the Parish/Mission status and membership
2. To develop the capacity-building of the Parishes and Missions
3. To institutionalize and sustain the established program of the SRGM
4. To participate in the diocesan program of the MSWR


PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES AND WORKING COMMITTEES

WORSHIP, EDUCATION AND MINISTRY (WEM)

Committee:

Rev. Nixon Jose (chairperson), Rev. Victoria Esguerra, Rev. Hermogenes Verano, and Rt. Rev. Warlito Baldomero
Worship and Ministry Team: Fr. Nixon Jose and Fr. Hermogenes Verano
Education Team: Rev. Victoria Esguerra and Bishop Warlito Baldomero
Functions:
1. To lead in the activities related to Christian education and liturgical renewal
2. To design and implement programs for the Leadership Bodies Orientation, Clergy Retreat, Vacation Church School Orientation, 118th IFI Proclamation Anniversary and Diocesan Family Day, Lay Ministers Training, and Altar Servers Training

CONCORDAT AND ECUMENICAL RELATIONS (CER)

Committee:

Rev. Erahvilla Maga-Cabillas (chairperson), Rev. Vincent Taguinod, Rev. Orlando Concepcion
Functions:
1. To strengthen the diocesan concordat and ecumenical work with other churches and faith-based institutions within its canonical jurisdiction
2. To lead the Diocese in participating and supporting local and global activities/campaigns which call for peace based on justice
3. To work and cooperate with the IFI Central Office and National Cathedral in observing the IFI Red-letter days
4. To lead in the propagation of the Mission, Service, Witness and Relations (MSWR) Orientation in the parishes and missions

WITNESS, ADVOCACY AND SERVICE (WAS)

Committee:

Rev. Severino Ismael II (chairperson), Rev. Sherryl Ann Bianson-Javier and Rev. Fedelino Ofdi
Functions:
1. To lead in the continuing study and participation of the faithful in the Diocese thereby strengthening their faith and social awareness and hence becoming witness as an integral part of their relationship to the Risen Lord
2. To consolidate the faithful towards active involvement in the Church’s continuing advocacy and mission
3. To work and cooperate with the IFI Central Office, National Cathedral and South-Central Luzon Bishops Conference (via Ramento Project for Rights Defenders) in supporting and implementing activities related to the Abundant Life Program (Lumad in Metro Manila), Workers Assistance Program, Peacemakers and Environmental Concerns (disaster relief) of the National Church

STEWARDSHIP, RESOURCE GENERATION AND MANAGEMENT (SGRM)

Committee:

Msgr. Emmanuel Ballesteros and Rev. Ferdinand Alvarez (members) 

CREAM: Msgr. Emmanuel Ballesteros (chairperson) and Rev. Albert Dacera
Functions:

1. To promote the development of the parish/mission data system (with census) of members for more efficient administrative planning and implementation of programs
2. To impart the awareness, relevance, meaning and purpose of good stewardship as God’s important instrument in relation to the mission and ministry of the Church
3. To ensure financial responsibility, capability, and efficiency in fiscal management thus promoting transparency and accountability in handling the church coffers
4. To foster human resource development through activities that enhance the skills of clergy and laity
5. To lead the Diocese in planning a sound program for the benefit of the clergy and their families leading to improved lifestyle and working conditions
6. To seek the cooperation of the Central Office in developing its own diocesan resources (real properties, etc.) for the improvement of the diocesan general welfare
7. To coordinate in planning the diocesan budget with consideration of the parish/mission capabilities (category), needs, and priorities vis-à-vis the diocesan program needs.
